Membrane Keypads

Produced from a combination of Chemically resistant and cost effective Polycarbonate or Polyester materials, Membrane keypads are available in a limitless variety of colours and configurations.
Suited to the majority of data entry situations with short travel keystroke and positive tactile response, Membrane keypads provide a comfortable man-machine interface under all conditions.

Made from a sandwich of layers of insulating materials and conductive inks, they are completely sealed integrated switching systems. Their low profile with a self-adhesive backing, make them ideal for small spaces and environmentally demanding applications.

We can offer you Membrane keypads with:
Tactile feedback by stainless steel or plastic domes, embossed features, selective UV cured textured finishes, filter display windows, RFI, ESD and EMI shielding,
Embedded LED's, insertable legends, text and key illumination by EL lamp or LED and mounted on a rigid support panel made from steel, aluminium, glass filled resin board or custom plastic mouldings.

Labels, Overlays and Fascia
 
Produced from the same substrate materials as Membrane keypads, these products can provide a cost-effective solution to applications where a Membrane keypad is not considered a viable option. They can be offered with all the features detailed above for Membrane keypads. Indeed, when correctly applied as a solution using micro-motion mechanical switches under the overlay, for example, it is difficult to detect the difference from a Membrane keypad!
